Running Coaching Packages

At Z2H we believe in keeping things simple, and so we offer 2 tiers of running, athlete centred coaching/training programmes.

The Standard running coaching plan is perfect for those who are embarking on either their first challenge or for those who simply need some structure to their training but require less athlete-coach feedback. That said, unlike other coached programmes, we do not limit contact to the coach as we feel ALL runners need a helping hand and support throughout your journey. It is similarly suited to those who are experienced runners who have already found their feet, and looking for a bespoked structure to their training.

The Enhanced running coaching plan optimises all aspects of your performnace to help you become the very best you can be. The close coach/athlete interaction every step of the way gives total flexibility and allows for a ‘fluid’ programme . It’s a programme that is dynamic in terms of adapting to your daily requirements or sudden changes along the way. It's the perfect plan for both seasoned runners and those new to the sport.

 

We appreciate that venturing into being coached can be quite daunting and potentially a leap of faith. There are more often than not lots of questions you want to ask about the  process and ideally you'll want to get to know the coach beforehand.   • Consultation to discuss training history, strengths/weakness, time available and goals, from which an annual plan is designed.

  • Any discipline (Road, XC) and distance

  • Bespoke periodised training plan utilising benchmark data

  • Unlimited contact by messenger/email when needed

  • Weekly adjustments to plan based on personal changes to routine etc.

  • Race execution plans for pacing, nutrition and equipment choices.

  • Regular testing with coach review - VO2 (capacity) FTHR (Functional Threshold Heart Rate)

  • In-depth analysis of your training/progress

  • Unlimited coach contact for training/performance feedback and advice

  • Adjustments to plan whenever required based on personal circumstances

  • Weekly review via phone/email/messenger

  • Periodised Strength & Conditioning Plan

  • End of month meeting either face to face/zoom

  • Free remote Video Analysis of bike with recommendations

  • Psychological Guidance/Support for training and raceday

  • Race day planning/strategy and performance review ie pacing, nutrition and equipment choices incl.

  • Training/Race day nutrition advice
